Takla Nation releases election results

TAKLA NATION — Chief John Allen French has been re-elected to his second four-year term as Chief of Takla Nation, near Fort St. James.

There were three candidates for chief with French picking up over 72 per cent of the vote.

Incumbent councillors Chris French and Sandra Teegee were also re-elected from a pool of 14 councillor candidates.

Sixty per cent of those eligible cast a ballot.
