Cougars mourning loss of Gary Samis

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars are mourning the loss of a respected staff member.

Gary Samis, known as “The Commish” among friends and co-workers, was the Cougars Corporate Sales Manager the past eight years.

He also chaired the annual Cougars Alumni Hospital Charity Golf Tournament and was instrumental in launching the Cougars Alumni Association.

In a news release, the Cougars say they are “deeply devastated” by the loss.
