Young summer hoopers head south for provincials

A pair of Northern BC zone basketball teams head south this weekend for provincial tournaments. After two of the veterans on the U13 zone team attended the BC Summer Games last year, they’ve taken the reigns as leaders this season, as the team heads into their 3 on 3 provincial championship. The two Grade seven’s head up the Northern BC basketball team that heads to Vancouver this weekend for 3-on-3 provincials. The team consists of many players that will look to compete at next year’s summer games in Maple Ridge. Basketball BC’s U14 provincials also go this weekend, sending two teams from Prince George to the Valley.
