Buying and selling via social media has its risks

PRINCE GEORGE – Millions of dollars are exchanged for products online every day.

There are also those transactions through social media platforms such as Craigslist, Kijiji, or Facebook which sometimes requires a face-to-face exchange.

RCMP are warning residents there is a risk associated with these face to face exchanges.

Police recommend that those wishing to use purchase or sell items with strangers to meet in a public place with many people around.
