Smiles were shining bright at the 2019 Seniors Home Car Tour

PRINCE GEORGE–The sun was shining, and so were smiles on the seniors at the Seniors Home Car Tour on Friday; the event happens every year before the Father’s Day Show and Shine weekend.
The cars started off at the Downtown Chieftain Auto Parts before heading over to Parkside Care, followed by Rainbow Care Home, Jubilee Lodge, Simon Fraser Lodge, Gateway Lodge and ending at River Bend Manor.
Rick Fewster, President of the Cruisin Classics Car Show says that this event gives seniors the opportunity to reminisce the times when these antique, collectible cars weren’t all that antique.
“It brings back memories for them. So they come out and they go ‘oh this is the kind of car where my husband and I first–met each other’,” said Fewster with a chuckle.
