Moberg off to Chicago for Development Camp

Next week will be a busy, but pretty surreal week for the lone Cougars NHL draft pick this season. Cole Moberg has been invited to Chicago Blackhawks Development Camp. The 2000-born North Vancouver boy was drafted 194th overall by the Blackhawks in the seventh-round of last month’s NHL Draft, and is one of 36-players attending the camp, which runs July 15th-19th in Chicago, Illinois. The 18-year-old defenseman is coming off his best season with the Cats, after recording 40 points in 61 games. Moberg is the second Cougar to attend an NHL Development Camp this summer after goalie Taylor Gauthier attended the Boston Bruins Development Camp last month.
