Police investigation shutting down Hart Highway

PRINCE GEORGE – VIDEO UPDATE: One-shot was fired by an RCMP and two suspects were arrested around 11 this morning. Prince George RCMP located a suspect vehicle on the Hart Highway near Noranda road, that was connected to a home invasion earlier in the day. During the altercation with the suspects, several vehicles received damaged and the two suspects fled on foot. However, the suspects were quickly arrested. The Hart highway is expected to be closed for the next 3 hours as police investigate. No one was injured the altercation.

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP are currently investigating an incident that happened near the intersection of Highway 97 and Noranda Road in the Hart. That portion of Highway 97 will be closed in both directions while police investigate, though there are no public safety concerns.
