PRINCE GEORGE— Two Rivers Gallery spent the past year working on the REDRESS: Sacred Obligation exhibit.

Different artists from across B.C., including the Prince George area, share some of the traumatic experiences faced by Indigenous people in Residential Schools through their pieces.

“I basically wanted to have that voice of the 22 artists here from all over B.C to talk about those things. REDRESS is a combination of their voice and hope,” Indigenous Curator Rosemarie Spahan says.

Tonight’s (July 18) opening is at 7:30 p.m. It will feature special guests, including a Lheidli T’enneh Men’s Drum Group. The exhibit will run until October 6, and admission is by donation.
