Missing teens considered suspects in murders in northern BC

RCMP say that the two Port Alberni teens that were reported missing near Dease Lake are now being considered suspects in the murders of Chynna Deese, Lucas Fowler and a third person found 2 km near the teens abandoned and burnt truck.

Expected petrochemical project announcement for Prince George

A large announcement is expected for the city of Prince George today at 2 pm regarding a world scale petrochemical project which is expected to be located on a 300-acre site in the BCR Industrial Park. We will update the story with more information throughout the day.

Women’s UNBC Timberwolves announce their latest international addition

18-year-old Laura Garmendia Garcia is the new addition to the UNBC Women’s Timberwolves basketball team. She is from Spain and says she is really excited to continue her basketball career in Canada.

Prince George building permits record-breaking. Again.

In 2017, 235 permits were issued, 231 were issued last year, and in the first six months of 2019, 289 permits have been issued.
