RCMP shift search for murder suspects to York Landing

YORK LANDING, Man. — A new development in the hunt for two teenage murder suspects from Port Alberni, B-C.
Authorities are following up on a tip 18-year-old Bryer Schmegelsky and 19-year-old Kam McLeod have been seen southwest of Gillam in northern Manitoba.
Multiple R-C-M-P resources are being sent to York Landing, about 90 kilometres away, after word they may be in or near the community.
Residents of York Landing are being advised to remain inside and lock their doors.
Schmegelsky and McLeod are wanted in connection with three homicides earlier this month in northern British Columbia
