Boundary Road Farmland Vandalism

PRINCE GEORGE – A local farming family are feeling the effects of vandals. They are putting out a plea, asking people to respect their newly planted crop and not drive over it with vehicles.

Harry and James Perry are concerned with the amount of damage done by a couple of 4×4 vehicles that drove over their newly planted oat and grass crop. The Perry family began working 700-acres land along Boundary road this June.

According to James Perry, the vandals created several hundred metres of damage to the ground, which took them hours to get it to the seeding stage. The Perry family feel at this point the crops are seriously going to suffer if this kind of behavior continues. They also have struggled with multiple thefts from their tractors at this location. Much more physical work needs to be done before they can harvest the crop in September.
