PRINCE GEORGE — Yes, it was wet in July in Prince George, but not wet enough to break any records.

Environment Canada says there was 85 millimetres of rain last month, 37 per cent more than the norm.

However it was still just the 19th wettest July on record says Meteorologist Matt MacDonald.

Looking ahead to the BC Day long weekend though he says the sunshine is expected to make an appearance on Saturday and remain through the middle of next week when more unsettled weather is expected to return.
