Rain halts Provs for Friday

The skies opened up today, enough to close shop on Day 2 of the Bantam Provincials here in town. As you heard earlier, the fields, way too wet to play on on Friday. A rainy morning cancelled the Prince George Knights’ 9:00 am game against the Burnaby Braves, and with the rain continuing for most of the day, all other games were cancelled as well. The tournament will now be shifted by one day, meaning Saturday the Knights will play the Braves before carrying on with their remaining three games before semifinals and finals on Tuesday.
