5 people arrested in stolen vehicle recovery

PRINCE GEORGE–RCMP arrested five people in connection to a stolen vehicle on Friday (Aug.23.)
At around 8:30 PM a frontline officer identified the stolen vehicle along Victoria Street. Multiple officers converged on the vehicle near the intersection of Victoria Street and 4th Ave.
The driver, a 24-year-old man from Prince George was held overnight and released on Saturday, Aug.24 on a Promise to Appear for court on Oct. 9th 2019. A 37-year-old female was found in possession of what police believe were controlled substances, she was also released on a Promise to Appear for court in February 2020.
The three remaining passengers were released without charge.The Ford F-150 pick-up, had been reported stolen from the community of Fraser Lake on August 13th.
