“It’s never been this bad”: PG Humane Society close to shutting its doors

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Humane Society could soon have its doors shut for good if a new fundraising campaign doesn’t go well. It’s desperate times for a charity that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to run each year.

It’s starting a new Change for Change campaign to help cover costs. Donations can be made at the Society. It will run for two weeks and is meant to support the charity in the short term before a more permanent solution is found.

If not enough is raised, the PG Humane Society could be shut down in as little as two months.
