Northern Fancon organizer launches 100K crowdfunding campaign

PRINCE GEORGE — The organizer of next year’s Northern Fancon in Prince George is launching a crowdfunding campaign to keep the fan convention/entertainment expo afloat.
UNLTD Media & Events is taking over the event from the Prince George Citizen and is aiming to raise $100,000 in thirty days starting this Friday.
You can purchase tickets or a table through Unlimited’s social media channels. You can learn more at fancon.ca or on its Facebook page.
There’s one catch though – the fundraising goal of $100,000 must be achieved before you find out who next year’s special guests are.
