Masich Place hosts Men’s Timberwolves this weekend

UNBC Men’s Soccer team has an exciting weekend ahead, as they get set to open up their home schedule at Masich Place Stadium. This will mark the team’s second season at the newly renovated turf field and they start tonight against the University of the Fraser Valley. The Cascades were the final team the TWolves played last year, needing a win over their weekend in Abbotsford to go to the playoffs, but a loss and a draw due to a late penalty kick eliminated the team from playoff contention. So maybe a little revenge this weekend for the TWolves, who are coming off a weekend split last weekend, while the Cascades are 0-2 after a tough weekend against UBC and UVic. Tonight’s game goes at 6, before the two teams return Sunday at 1 for game 2.
