Encana Events Centre hosts WHL Cougars, Oil Kings in historic hockey weekend

6 months ago it was announced, but bringingthe WHL to Dawson Creek has been years in the making. Tonight, the Encana Events Centre hosts the city’s first exposure to the Western Hockey League as the Prince George Cougars get set for a pair of preseason contests again the Edmonton Oil Kings. It’s about so much more than a few games though as the city displays all they have to offer while raising money for a worthy cause.
