This week in Langley, it’s the playoff round of the Lacrosse World Championships, where two Prince George players are representing their homeland. Leif Paulson is playing for Sweden, who finished 1-3 in the round robin, and Cole Paciejewski, whose Scottish team also put up a 1-3 record in the round robin. From there, Team Scotland lost 29-5 in their first placement game against Australia, bumping them to the bottom of the concelation bracket. They’ll finish between 13th and 16th depending on their final games this week. Aside from a rocky record, Prince George’s Paciejewski has been lighting it up. He led the entire tournament in goals during the round robin with 17 and has continued his hot hand into the playoff round.
