A new sign of drought

PRINCE GEORGE – Recently the provincial government erected a sign displaying the availability of water in our region. The new drought sign located on 2000 Ospika boulevard has a sliding scale that displays the severity of the drought. The scale takes into consideration the stream flows and the amount of precipitation that is not average for our region. The sign is updated regularly as data is available.
