RCMP clarify sudden death in 100 Mile House not caused by animal

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — RCMP in 100 Mile House are clarifying information about a sudden death in that community.
On Wednesday (Oct. 2), a man was found dead outside of a Stokes Road residence in 100 Mile.
Foul play has been ruled out in the man’s death, and while initial communication from RCMP seemed to indicate that an animal might have caused the death, Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says that is not the case.
“While cause of death has yet to be determined, any animal involvement has been ruled out,” said Saunderson.
