PRINCE GEORGE–Popping trunks, and attempting to sell you their junk.

That’s what’s happening on Saturday, Oct.4th at the 15th Junk in the Trunk event hosted by the Recycling and Environmental Action Planning Society (REAPS.) 125 vendors will be at the event on Saturday, and Terri McClymont, REAPS Executive Director says they’re expecting around 3,000 to 4,000 people coming out to the event. The event is much like a garage sale, trading out the garage for a car.

McClymont mentions that the event is a great way to get in touch with your green side, “This gives give the opportunity for the community to come together in one big, large venue to sell their junk, so that shoppers can find some new treasures and keeping it out of the landfill through reusing and repurposing.”

The event starts at nine in the morning at the CN Centre parking lot and goes until 1 PM.
