Ron Vaillant is representing the People’s Party of Canada in the Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies riding. Here’s what you need to know about the candidate:

Ron Vaillant

Q: Why are you running for office?

A: To Help Bring Canada Back To Sanity.

Q: How does your party plan to address the issue of climate change?

A: We don’t believe there is a climate emergency based on human-created C02. There are a lot of scientists that are stating this, including a recent 500, top scientist, paper sent to the UN stating there is no Climate Emergency. We won’t do anything on the Federal Level and will exit the UN Paris Accord. Micheal Mann, who created the famous hockey stick chart, indicating global warming, has lost his court case to Tim Ball, a Canadian climatologist. Mann was not willing to subject his hockey stick math to the court for scrutiny. Then there is Climategate, the leaked IPCC emails, etc. Let’s see those who are leaders in the Climate Emergency propaganda live out their convictions. Al Gore, Trudeau, David Suzuki, etc. can stop jet setting and live in smaller homes.

Q: How would you address housing challenges facing some Aboriginal communities across our region?

A: We are looking to remove the Indian Act and privatize reserves. After 3.3 trillion – adjusted for inflation – dollars since it’s inception, it’s clear the Indian Act is not working. This is about 21 billion per year taxpayers pay. By offering private ownership we believe this will move things forward.

Q: What’s your stance on the development of pipelines?

A: Totally in favor and would use 92.10 of the constitution to impose pipelines in the event proper negotiations fail.

Q: Should the federal government help those affected by the downturn in the forestry sector? If yes, how?

A: We will help by lowering taxes and eliminating Supply Management that has milk, poultry, and eggs at twice the price they should be. I would want to work with the provincial government to deal with the stumpage system used and try and have them go to a system like Alberta that has stumpage prices follow market pricing.

Q: Do you think there should be term limits for MPs?

A: It’s not a concern for me. If the people like their MP, why not let them run with it.

Why you should vote for me:

Q: What would you do to help struggling seniors in the region?

A: By lowering taxes and eliminating Supply Management that has milk, poultry, and eggs at twice the price they should be and protect the Canada Pension Plan. We are not like the other parties that promise the moon at election time, using borrowed money from private banks. We want to balance the budget in 2 years and then go after the enormous debt that the Lib / Cons have created. This amounts to $80,000.00 per family of 4 and we are only paying the interest on the debt, aprox. 25 Billion a year. Not million, but Billion.

Q: What is something interesting about you that voters don’t know?

A: That I skateboard at the tender age of 23. I count my age backwards after 40.

Q: Where in the riding do you live? Why? What are your favourite places to spend time in?

A: I live in Alberta. It’s a good thing because I am more free to speak about the local issues without fearing any reprisals after the election. Favorite places would be most things back country.

Q: Name the last Netflix program you binge-watched.

A: I really don’t watch Netflix.
