PRINCE GEORGE–The last road and sidewalk rehabilitation project by the city is underway.
City crews are repaving the sidewalk running along 3rd Ave. in front of the Prince George Native Friendship Centre. The City voted to double the budget for sidewalk construction and rehabilitation in 2017 from $500,000 to $1 Million per year. This year seven sidewalk projects were completed, the largest being on the south side of Highland Drive.
Along with the sidewalk improvements the City says they have also made improvements to crosswalks and road safety.
