Missing hiker in Houston

HOUSTON BC–RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing hiker last seen on Oct. 28th.

Laureen Campbell Fabian was last seen on Monday, Oct.28th when she left her home on foot for a hike. Houston RCMP say there is nothing to indicate foul play at this time, however, police are concerned about her health and wellbeing.

Police say that it is not unusual for Laureen to take long walks, but friends and family say that it is out of character for her to be out of contact for this long. RCMP have engaged local search and rescue crews, as police continue their search for Laureen, states Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey, spokesperson for the BC RCMP.

Laureen is described as:

• Caucasian female
• 69 years of age
• 5’4″
• brown hair and brown eyes
