Fire crews douse Hart blaze

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue doused a commercial structure fire on Bellamy Road just off the Hart Highway this afternoon.

Crews responded to the structure fire at 1:45 p.m. to find a fully involved single story office structure on fire. The crews did a quick defensive attack on the structure.

Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Scobie says the blaze caused $250,000 in damages and notes there were two employees in the structure at the time who exited the building without incident.

He says the cause of the fire is under investigation.
