Westwood Elementary closed due to water line break

PRINCE GEORGE — Update: School District 57 says the water line has been repaired Westwood Elementary and that school will re-open on Tuesday.

Earlier: School District 57 has closed Westwood Elementary School for the day. The closure comes as a result of a break in a water line outside of the school.

Water to the school is being shut off as repairs to the line are made.

The school board says that students are currently being sent home.
