It is with extreme sadness that we announce that after a 3 year long courageous battle with cancer, Tony Pirillo passed away at the Prince George Hospice house with his family by his side on October 9th, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife Agata, his daughter Angela (Mike), his sons Frank and Paul, his grandsons Christian, Curtis, Colton and Luca, and his brother Pietro (Teresa). He is predeceased by his father Francesco, his mother Angela and his sister Rosetta. Tony worked as an electrician and utility supervisor. He had a passion for playing, coaching and watching soccer and cheering for Milan. He loved to watch his grandsons play hockey as well as the Canucks and the Cougars. Tony’s passions were travelling and spending time with family, especially his grandsons, fishing and camping. Special Thank you to Dr. Plouffe, Dr Wilson, Sybil in the FMU and all the staff at the Hospice House. Prayers will be held on Thursday, October 17th at 7 pm and funeral services will take place at 2pm on Friday, October 18th both at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Internment to follow at the Prince George Cemetery and reception at Sacred Heart. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Prince George Cancer Clinic or the Prince George Hospice House.
