PRINCE GEORGE–The BC Natural Resources Forum is happening this week at the Prince George Civic Centre, and The North Matters plans to have their voices heard.

This is the second time that the North Matters has hosted their, Resource Workers United Rally. The rally, taking place on Wednesday, will highlight the key issues and concerns of community members in the north when it comes to the natural resource industry.

“We want them (the government) to start listening more to the people who live in these communities, and the representatives that were voted into represent them.”–Dave Johnston, Founder The North Matters

Speakers from all over northern bc, including members of the Wet’suwet’en Nation, will take a stand and voice their concerns during the BC Natural Resources Forum. A parade of trucks will make their way from Boundry Road, through the city ending at the Civic Centre, and speeches will begin at the Civic Centre at 11:30 a.m.
