CNC excited for new grant helping post-secondary students

PRINCE GEORGE – The 2020 budget was released this week and part of the budget announced was help for post-secondary students.
College and University students throughout British Columbia are now eligible for a new BC Access Grant, which offers up to $4,000 to students taking programs under two years.
The Student Union representative at the College of New Caledonia, Damon Robinson, commented on the grant exclaiming, “We are very thankful for this. I think the incorporation of this new grant shows that our voices as students can be heard.”
This grant will go into effect Fall of 2020 and more than 40,000 students across BC will be eligible for this grant.
