Tough Friday for local schools at Provincials

It wasn’t the best day on the hardcourt for local basketball squads at B.C High School Girl’s Basketball Provincials down in Langley.

At the 4A level, PGSS dropped a 75-40 decision to Cowichan. They will play in the 15th place game Friday night at 8:15 p.m.

Meanwhile, Duchess Park came short against South Kamloops in 3A Provincials, falling 64-56. They will play Valleyview Saturday at 11:30 a.m. to determine who finishes 7th and 8th.

Finally, at the 2A level, Nechako Valley fell 59-43 to Southridge Friday afternoon. They will play in the 11th place game Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.
