Cougars look for giant performance at home against Vancouver
With 8 games to go in the WHL regular season, the Prince George Cougars are hoping to keep their playoff hopes alive this weekend as they host the Vancouver Giants in their final two home games.
The Cats are coming off a 2-0 win Wednesday night against a very good Lethbridge Hurricanes squad which was highlighted by Taylor Gauthier making 37 saves for his 2nd shutout of the season.
The win brought the Cougars up to 18-34-4-4 on the season and are 9 points out of the final playoff spot with 8 games to go.
For the Cats to make the 2nd season though they will need to take care of their own business and get some help as both the Cougars and the Thunderbirds have 8 games remaining.
