CKPG nominated for two RTDNA awards

VANCOUVER — CKPG is up for two prestigious journalism awards.

CKPG -TV has been nominated for a Radio Television Digital News Association award for best TV newscast for its news special Miracle on Third. Miracle on Third raised funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern BC back in December.

CKPG has also been nominated for an RTDNA in the long feature category for its news special ‘Along the Line.’ That program took an in-depth look at the LNG industry in northern B.C.

Both nominations came in the small/medium market category.The winners will be announced March 28 in Vancouver.
