3-D chalk art in celebration of 100 years of Engineers and Geoscientists BC

PRINCE GEORGE–Engineers and Geoscientists BC is celebrating 100 years of innovation and building by debuting 3-D chalk art across the province.

The art will pop up in five different locations including the Prince George Civic Centre today, March 7th.

The art includes three major engineering feats that had a lasting impact on the province, including the completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway, the Ripple Rock explosion, and the construction of the William R. Bennett Bridge.

The art will also be showcased throughout the month of March–National Engineering and Geoscience Month–in Vancouver, at Science World and the Vancouver Public Library, Kelowna, at Orchard Park Mall and at the Victoria Public Market.
