Another break-in into the Mausoleum

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George RCMP received a report of a break & enter at the mausoleum at the Prince George Cemetery on Friday 13th at 6 am.

This is the second report this week. Video surveillance of the break-in shows, a lone male suspect wearing a mask smashed a window to gain entry and then broke into a few niches to steal personal belongings.

Video surveillance also shows the suspect was on the premises for less than two minutes before fleeing. The suspect is described as:

· Male

· Wearing a black hoody, black pants, runners and a mask

Police now believe that there were three break-ins to this property in the last week.

The first occurred on Friday night or Saturday morning where an external window was broken, but no entry gained.

The second occurred early Monday morning where the suspect entered the building, and third occurred earlier today where the suspect entered the building.

In all three incidents, niches were broken into and personal items, predominantly jewelry, was stolen.

The investigations are continuing and police are looking for the public’s help.
