Cougars players sent home as a result of COVID-19

ckpgPRINCE GEORGE —More fallout as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.
This time it’s the Prince George Cougars, who, based on information they are receiving from medical professionals, the Canadian Hockey League and the Western Hockey League, are sending all of their player home to their families until further notice.,
“The Cougars take the safety of our players, staff members, fans, and everyone associated with the WHL very seriously,” said the club in a statement. “We will continue to monitor ongoing public health developments regarding COVID-19.”
The team thanks everyone for their patience.
