QUESNEL – The Mayor of Quesnel and his council continue to focus on stopping the spread of the COVID 19 virus within their community.
For example, Mayor Bob Simpson would like residents to follow the health messaging coming from the federal and provincial governments.
Like many other communities across the county, Quesnel has closed its public facilities and earlier this week the parks, playgrounds, and dog parks were also closed.
According to Mayor Bob Simpson, there’re currently discussions to move some city staff to an essential service status but there has not been that direction from the province as of yet to let this happen.
