Local hotel and restaurant offer temporary grocery delivery service

PRINCE GEORGE—The Prestige Treasure Cove Hotel and the Grand Trunk Tavern Oyster Bar and Grill will offer a temporary grocery delivery service to the public.

The program will allow the public to order staple groceries through the hotel’s business suppliers. Food, sundries, beer and wine will be available.

A release by Prestige Hotels and Resorts highlights the fact that there is no markup on food—you pay what they pay—mentioning that the purpose of the program is not ot profit from the program but to aid in social distancing.

Orders can be completed by having customers email princegeorgechef@prestigehotels.ca or by calling 250-614-9111.

The current order guide is limited, however, most products can be brought in by request so long as they can be purchased through the hotel’s regular suppliers.
