Court appearance for Ed John postponed

PRINCE GEORGE — Another court delay for former BC cabinet minister Ed John.

John was originally scheduled to appear in the Prince George provincial court last month and now another delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In fact the Provincial Court of British Columbia has suspended all regular court operations until further notice.

John was charged back in November with four counts of sexual assault going all the way back to 1974.

John is a hereditary chief and last worked in government as a special advisor for B.C.’s Indigenous child welfare system.
