RCMP say no suspect in weekend vehicle theft, appealing to public for information

PRINCE GEORGE— RCMP say there have been no suspects identified in weekend vehicle theft that left a truck with serious damage, and are asking the public for information.

At around 11:20 p.m. on Sunday, Apr.26, Prince George RCMP received a report of a break and enter to a commercial property on the 1800 block of 1st Ave.

When RCMP attended the scene, they found that the gate to the fenced compound was laying on 1st Ave.

Leading officers to believe that a grey Dodge 2500 pick-up had been stolen.

At around 3:20 a.m., on the 27th the vehicle was located in a parking lot on PG Pulpmill Rd., with significant damage to the front end of the truck.

The truck was then seized and will undergo forensic examination.
