We’ve come such a long way in the past few years and then when the going gets tough, a majority of Trustees fold. Last nights decision by School Board Trustees saw a 4-3 vote to dual name the new school, including both Kelly Road and Shas Ti in the name.

Pountney says their Council and community will take all the time required to review the decision before determining their next steps.

“It is clear that we cannot trust what SD57 has to say. The Board of Education has betrayed our nation, our students and our members. All I can say for sure is that our relationship with SD57 has been damaged by those Board members who changed their vote.
