PRINCE GEORGE – A local man, who recently found himself unemployed because of COVID-19, has discovered a way to keep himself busy and others entertained during the pandemic.

Weekly, Dave Horton hosts a drive-in trivia at the CN Centre parking lot for those fighting the isolation blues.

Horton was recently laid off from his job where he helps organize fun activities for youth attending summer camp.

He wanted to put his skills to work and help the community through the COVID-19 crisis.

A few weeks ago Horton began entertaining people with projecting movies on buildings that could be heard through their car radio. Last week, to avoid competing with the local drive-in theatre he switched to parking lot trivia.

Nearly twenty vehicles showed Wednesday night to play trivia. The vehicle with the right answer blows their vehicle horn.

During his events, Horton encourages people to stay in their vehicles. He would like people to think about those who are having a difficult time dealing with the ongoing pandemic.
