Kiwanis Club of Prince George distributes proceeds from AleFest

PRINCE GEORGE — The Kiwanis Club of Prince George is getting set to distribute the first round of funds raised during this year’s edition of Kiwanis AleFest.
The Kiwanis Club will distribute $33,700 in funds to the following organizations:
Association de Parent du Programme Francophone
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern BC
Carney Hill Neighbourhood Centre Society
The Exploration Place
Friends of Children
Huble Homestead Historic Site
Prince George Public Library
Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon
President Amy Dhanjal says about $60,000 was raised during the two-day event held January 24-25. The second round of funding will be distributed in the fall.
