Orr switching crowns for 20/21 season

The Trade winds continue to blow for the Prince George Spruce Kings this off-season.

The club announced Wednesday morning that they have traded 2001 born defenceman Evan Orr to the Powell River Kings in exchange for Future Considerations.

In a press release, Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes stated “Evan is a great kid and was a great teammate.”

“We just couldn’t guarantee him the amount of ice time he will need this season for his development. In those situations, it is better for the player if we move them to a spot that is a better fit.”

Orr spent one season with the Spruce Kings where he produced 5 goals and 15 assists in 52 games.
