One person dead after driving off Hwy.16

TERRACE–One person is dead after a vehicle drove off Hwy.16 and into an embankment.
Terrace RCMP responded to a call at around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Aug.12, of a single-vehicle crash on Hwy.16, east of Terrace. Police say that a commercial vehicle with an empty flatbed drove off the road and down an embankment. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP say that casual factors are not yet known and that the investigation is still ongoing. The BC Coroners Service is also conducting a parallel investigation to determine the cause of death. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Terrace RCMP at (250) 638-7400.
