Vape shop targeted a third time

BURNS LAKE — Mounties in Burns Lake responded to a break and enter in progress this week.

North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says they responded to an alarm at a business in the 300 block of Highway 16 shortly after 2 a.m. on Thursday.

“When police arrived on scene they discovered a male youth trying to gain entry to the Small Town Vapes store. The suspect was arrested without incident and there was no entry made into the store.”

Police say the store was the scene of two previous break and enters in July and investigators are looking into any connection this may have to the previous offences.
