Section of Dominion Street to be closed starting this Wednesday

PRINCE GEORGE -Sections of Dominion Street will be closed to vehicle traffic between 5th Avenue and 7th Avenue, starting tomorrow(Wednesday) morning, to allow crews to connect the new downtown pool, currently under construction, to water and storm utilities. There will continue to be sidewalk access for pedestrians. However, the sidewalk on the west side of Dominion Street between 6th and 7th Avenue will remain closed. The road closure will affect the #5, #10, #15, #46, #47, and #55 bus routes, and will necessitate the temporary closure of the Dominion Street bus stop at 6th Avenue. Riders are asked instead to board at the Downtown Exchange located at 7th Avenue and Dominion Street, near the Four Seasons Leisure Pool. The project is expected to take about two weeks to complete.
