Dispose of your personal documents this weekend
PRINCE GEORGE— It’s that time of year again to shred all that needs shredding.
The Prince George Crime Stoppers Society, in partnership with Shred-It mobile Shredding Service and Mr. Mike’s are hosting their fall Shred-It event on Saturday, September 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event allows community members to shred personal or important documents, helping prevent identity theft. All proceeds from the event go towards supporting the PG Crime Stoppers Society.
The minimum donation for shredding documents is set at $5 per bag or box. The event is not meant for business owners and is taking place at a new location, at the Prince George Secondary School parking lot (2901 Griffiths Ave. just off of Hwy.97).
This year’s event will follow COVID-19 health guidelines. Event organizers are asking those who attend to remain physically distanced and wear a mask.
