PRINCE GEORGE – Members of Prince George’s three Rotary clubs were on hand at City Hall this morning to raise a United Nations flag. The flag is raised in honour of the International Day of Peace, as was unanimously declared by the United Nations in 1981. And Rotary International was part of that process all those years ago.

“The advancement of International understanding goodwill and peace have always been among Rotary’s goals,” explains Dave Hamilton, District 5040 Governor. Peace is something that just can’t be talked about, we need to live it.”
