Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation raises $100,000 for healthcare in the north

PRINCE GEORGE—The Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation raised more than $100,000 this Spirit Day.

Spirit Day began with the goal of raising $60,000 and instead they ended the day with $90,369, last week. However, with donations continuing to pour in, over $100,000 dollars have been raised.

The event was postponed from it’s original date in May until September due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Spirt of the North Healthcare Foundation hosts their Spirit Day once a year in an attempt to raise funds for better healthcare in the north. This year donors were able to choose an area in healthcare to direct their funds.
